FAQ

How long does it take for the sleep plan to work?
This is dependent on many different things-your child’s age, demeanor, the plan you choose, and how consistent you are. For most children you will start seeing real progress after just a few days of consistently implementing the plan! While it may take a couple weeks to fully reach your sleep goals, there will be many small victories along the way!

When should I transition my child out of a crib?
This will depend greatly upon your child, but I recommend waiting as long as possible! It brings in extra challenges when your child is free to roam-especially if they arent developmentally ready for that responsibility! As long as it isn’t a safety issue, leave them in the crib.

When should I start sleep training?
You can start working on a good sleep routine right out of the hospital! For sleep training itself I find it tends to work best for babies right around 4 months old. It is never too late though! I have successfully worked with infants to preschoolers!

Will I have to let my baby cry it out?
Babies do tend to cry when there is a change to what they are used to. This is completely normal! I have several methods that I coach families through that will help you support your baby through learning the skill of independent sleep!
